As a relatively special industry,the situation of the veterinary drug market has been growing with significant changes in the last few years.Under the multiple pressures of industry regulation,foreign companies shock and self-development obstacles of the companies,the number of companies is declining gradually.Under the circumstances,a distinct strategic positioning is the way to realize the comprehensive balanced and sustainable development for a company.The development strategy of Hunan Nongda Pharmaceutical are studied systematically in this paper by using strategic enterprise management theories.Firstly,the paper explains the theoretical systems of strategy management,concludes the methods of enterprise strategic positioning,and summarizes the strategic positioning situation of internal and external enterprises.Secondly,the veterinary drug industry environment,the industry future developments and competitive environment,and the company's opportunities and threats in the industry and competition are analyzed in the paper.The paper discusses where the superior resources of Nongda Pharmaceutical are in such external environment.On this basis,by finding the target market and focusing on target customers,the development strategy is revealed.A variety of methods are used,including SWOT analysis,Michael Porter's five forces model analysis,the analysis tools of Co-opetition and dynamic strategy.The strategy of vertical business and integrated strategy are made and implemented.Finally,in order to ensure the effective implementation of enterprise strategy,a series of measures are proposed,including cultivating the company's brand strength,improving employee's competence,optimizing the marketing network systems,strengthening human resources management and technological innovation.This has practical influence in strategic establishment and implement for Hunan Nongda Animal Pharmaceutical,and meanwhile,it can be used as a reference for other enterprises in same industry.The paper has provided some recommendations to veterinary drug firms on the fitness between the construction of competition resources and the strategy positioning and arrangement,which is expected to play a stimulated and referenced role in the veterinary drug industry in China.
