The suitability evaluation of engineering construction is an important part of urban geological survey.Its purpose is to provide scientific basis for land use planning and achieve the best socioeconomic effect with the least total social and economic input.The purpose of carrying out the appraisal of the suitability of urban land construction projects is to minimize the damage caused by human engineering activities to the geological environment,and to coordinate the regional development and the regional geological environment,and strive to achieve economic benefits,social benefits,and environmental benefits.Coordinated development.Xiamen's urban structure layout is a group-style coastal city with one heart,two rings and one main and four auxiliary.The paper re-sorts the sequence of various rock and soil layers in Xiamen,and separates the types of engineering geology for the rock mass and soil body respectively.Starting from the geo-environmental direction,the geomorphological characteristics,geological structure,civil engineering properties,surface water,groundwater and poor Geological effects and other factors are analyzed.On this basis,using the analytic hierarchy process to assess the suitability of urban land use in Xiamen,combined with the urban land planning,further detailed analysis of the construction adaptability of the partition,and provide a scientific basis for the Xiamen City construction planning.Through this study,we have the following conclusions:(1)Based on the three-dimensional database of urban geology in Xiamen,the evaluation of the suitability of urban land project construction is conducted.(2)Integrate the existing data analysis and enumerate the 12 major geological factors that affect the construction of Xiamen.(3)Through area statistics,the suitable land for construction within the city area of Xiamen accounts for about 30.7% of the land area,about 23% for good suitability,and about 14.92% for poor suitability,about 31.32% for bad suitability.The overall result is in good agreement with the geological units in Xiamen.It also proves that it is appropriate to use the analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the suitability.The weight of each factor is reasonable.The appraisal results of urban construction in Xiamen are rather poor.Among the various suitability appraisal results,the “bad suitability” distribution area accounts for 31.32% of the total area of the city.Under the background of the rapid development of Xiamen's urban construction,to ensure the safety of Xiamen's construction can be guaranteed,this needs attention.
