In recent years, with the rapid increase in China’s city development and city level,the increase of population, the human activity service area is also increasing, urbanconstruction land demand increases, the blind expansion of city construction land, willcause the low efficiency of land use, urban construction land is not coordination, it isnot only a waste of scarce land resources, but also damage the ecological environmentof the city. Therefore, with the structure and layout is reasonable or not essential forsustainable use of land of city construction, through the study of change on the spatialdynamic, we can understand more about the reasons and rules of city expansion, theplanning of scientific and reasonable, has important practical significance to promotesustainable development in geography space.This paper introduces the GIS spatial analysis in the city construction landsuitability evaluation of the application, analyzes the GIS spatial analysis methods andimplementation experience, analyzing the status of the land in the planning of the studyarea, such as selecting slope, and other leading evaluation factor of the original terrainland evaluation, the study area landform is complex more suitable for construction,gully, land less and smaller, through appropriate regulation, the evaluation factor ofsmall scale suitable for the study area selected, such as the terrain slope, slope, elevation,landslide, hydrological factors, visual corridor is the visibility analysis on the mountain,in the research area of this complex mountain construction environment, plays an important role in shaping the image of the city, the line of sight to the therefore, the landevaluation increased landscape perspective, according to the settlement of loess, fill adifferent depth, the degree of difficulty in construction are also different, so the volumeof earthwork is also used to evaluate the constraint factor, multiple target landsuitability evaluation of these influence factors, obtained by suitability evaluation maplayout of city construction, the suitable construction location, characteristics of the,Area, layout reasonable and new direction for urban and rural construction, theconstruction land resources more reasonable in the structure and layout of space, as afuture city construction land planning in the more accurate reference.
