Research On The Construction Of Social Responsibility Evaluation Index System Of Energy Enterprises In China

Energy industry has been an important economic pillar of the country for a long time,and has made outstanding contributions to the rapid and steady development of economy and society in China.Coal,oil,natural gas and other energy resources are related to all aspects of social life,while its scarcity and non-renewable,mining and processing also has a direct impact on the ecological environment,the energy industry compared with other industries has its own particularity.However,in recent years,some of China's energy companies have had some adverse events,resulting in casualties,property damage.At the same time,it damaged ecological environment and the image of energy companies,and it even triggered the industry regulators and the entire energy industry was questioned by the public.The gap between expectations and reality of energy companies makes energy companies' social responsibility problems increasingly urgent.How to promote the energy enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility actively and how to objectively evaluate the status of energy companies,to satisfy the public,to ensure sustainable development of enterprises become hot topics of academic research.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to evaluate the social responsibility of energy enterprises in China accurately and objectively.Based on the theory of stakeholder and sustainable development and so on,this paper introduced the international evaluation systems of social responsibility and analyzed the particularity of China's energy enterprises,determined the content of its social responsibility,and analyzed its performance status,and made comprehensive use of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and analytic hierarchy process and other research methods to build China's energy corporate social responsibility evaluation index system,including 8 first-level indexes of shareholders,creditors,suppliers,employees,consumers,government,community and environment and 24 secondary-level indexes.And then the energy corporate social responsibility evaluation index system applied to Sinopec Group to analyze its social responsibility from 2011 to 2015.For energy companies,the results of this paper will help them to clarify the connotation of corporate social responsibility,examine their own social responsibility,and actively assume social responsibility,so as to build a harmonious relationship between enterprises and stakeholders to obtain sustainable development.At the same time,the research of this paper can make up the shortcomings of the current research on social responsibility evaluation of energy enterprises,and this study also provides a research framework and reference for other related research on social responsibility of energy enterprises.
