Producer Service Affect Manufacturing Export Sophietication Research

In recent years,China’s economic development growth slowed,economic development has entered into the phase of the new normal.China’s manufacturing exports also remains sluggish,because of the recession of the international economic environment,rising labor costs and other reasons.China is a big manufacturing exporter,but export scale cannot truly reflect the international competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry.Because the more important factor is the measure of the quality or the technical content of manufacturing exports,which is the level of manufacturing export sophistication.The deepening of economic globalization and international division of labor system make it an urgent need to explore measures to upgrade China’s manufacturing exports sophistication,to enhance the competitiveness of China’s manufacturing exports in the international force,to realize the change from "manufacturing country" to "manufacturing power".As we all know,promote the development of the manufacturing sector is inseparable with the associated services,especially with the producer services.Producer Service intermediate inputs promote the manufacturing sector to high-capital,high-tech intensive change through knowledge spillover effects,cost reduction and restructuring elements effects,which can help to seek a new position in the global division of labor,and to enhance the level of China’s manufacturing exports sophistication by the integrate into the international division of labor system.This paper first generalizes the related literature,and analyzes the current situation of the development of producer services and manufacturing exports sophistication,and on this basis,summed up the problems.Then,this paper theoretically analyzed the path mechanism of the producer services affect manufacturing export sophistication.This paper draw Hausmann et al.(2005)calculation exports sophistication method,using the seven countries 1995-2014 panel data from producer services perspective to empirical study of its impact on manufacturing exports sophistication.The theory and empirical study all show that the development of producer service industry has a positive effect on ascending the complexity of manufacturing exports,but different sub-sectors has a different degree of ascension.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and empirical research described above,we put forward relevant policy suggestions.Firstly,increase the level of producer services embedded in manufacturing production,to accelerate the integration process of Producer Services and Manufacturing;Secondly,we need to optimize the internal structure of producer services in China;Thirdly,expand service market in China’s openness and the introduction of the producer services FDI;Fourthly,enhance the manufacturing capability of independent innovation and independent intellectual property rights of construction,optimizing our manufacturing structure of foreign trade exports.
