The transport sectors,as the lifeblood of the national economic development,whose demand for fossil energy have been increasing since the beginning of China's reform and opening up.It is imperative for the transport sectors to carry out green development in order to duel with kinds of crises,including resource shortage,environmental pollution and ecological damage.The personal automobile transport is the sub-sector of the transport sectors.With the economic development,the personal automobile becomes one of the main trip modes,leads to rapidly increasing energy consumption and turns into the key target for saving energy and reducing emission.Past experience shows that the improvement of energy efficiency is an ideal measure to relieve the problem of rapidly increasing energy consumption.However,the rebound effects may weaken the outcome.Focusing on the energy rebound effect of the personal automobile transport,this paper selects family cars in Chang-Zhu-Tan regions as the research object,researches energy-saving effect caused by the improved energy efficiency and provides some suggestions for saving energy from the perspective of the rebound effect.Here are some researches in this paper.Firstly,surveys are conducted,which contains the information of individual characteristics,family characteristics,space environment characteristics and characteristics of family cars.Secondly,econometric model is adopted to estimate the energy rebound effects that can evaluate the energy-saving effect.Thirdly,binary logistic regress model is used to explore the factors that affect the rebound effect,which can be used to make some suggestions from the perspective of the rebound effect.It turned out that firstly,the average direct rebound effect in Chang-Zhu-Tan regions in 2014 is-23.3%.Secondly,based on the use of family cars in 2014,when fuel consumption reduces to 5.0L/100km,54.77%of the direct rebound effect of family cars is less than or equal to 0.Thirdly,the factors that affect the rebound effect include individual characteristics,family characteristics,space environment characteristics and the trip characteristics of family cars.Therefore,we can find that the improvement of energy efficiency can help to decrease energy consumption and that the rebound effect working as an important index to evaluate the energy-saving effect can be affected by some factors.So in the process of making energy efficiency policies,the factors that affect the rebound effects should be taken into consideration in order to achieve better effect of energy conservation and emission reduction.
