Research On The Efficiency Of Port Operation In Tianjin Port Based On Improved DEA

The rapid development of the current domestic economy,while the basic energy-coal demand continues to increase,more coal transport through new waterway "South to North" to be achieved.Domestic major coal ports operating pressure increasing,which also makes it through the problem of poor ability to continue to highlight.In recent years,its focus on the construction and design of the terminal infrastructure,making its annual cargo throughput is more than 15%increase in the rate of increase in the number of high-In addition to note that the port ship speed is relatively slow,and a longer residence time and other issues become increasingly serious,how to compare the level of its development,to grasp the application of resources,improve the operational efficiency of the port has become the future development must be solved problem.In this case,In order to get the efficiency level of Tianjin Port,we use the data envelopment model to compare several major coal ports in China,so as to get the relative efficiency score of Tianjin Port.In this paper,we focus on the improvement of two points of the data envelopment model.By introducing the constraint vector and the virtual decision unit,we can ensure that the evaluation has higher recognition and more objective evaluation results.Process deficiencies to complement.Second,when the evaluation model is established,the production level,the port infrastructure as input,and the port throughput as output,while the effective combination of coal port characteristics,the impact on the efficiency of the coal port Length,coal handling capacity,length of own railway line and storage capacity of yard to coal port efficiency are included in the evaluation scope,and the study of lacking container port is supplemented.This paper has six chapters:the first chapter is the introduction part,this part mainly discusses the research background,significance and related literature review.n the second chapter,the methods of port efficiency evaluation are contrasted,and the data envelopment analysis is introduced to improve the existing problems.The third chapter analyzes the market situation of coal transportation in Tianjin Port,and forecasts the demand of domestic coal shipping,and compares the water economy and infrastructure of a similar port in Tianjin Port.In the fourth chapter,the indexes are determined and combined with the AHP analytic method to weight the input and output of the indicators.In the fifth chapter,the efficiency of China's main coal ports is obtained through the improved DEA model.The relative efficiency of Tianjin Port in coal harbor is calculated and the result of efficiency score is analyzed and evaluated.The last chapter is the conclusion and Prospect,summarizes the problems and solutions of Tianjin Port's operation and development,and prospects its future development.
