| The effectiveness of Labor Unions refers to the extent to which the trade union represents the views or recommendations of the workers on the management and other issues and employee participation in some major issues of enterprises.The objective is to protect the interests and rights of employees.However,there has been a great deal of controversy in the theoretical circles for a long time about the impact and influence of the Labor Unions have on establishment of harmonious labor relations.Based on correlation theory,this paper analyzes if there is a significant correlation between the harmonious labor relations and the existence of trade unions through five variables-the influence of employees for decision-making,employee participation,information transparency,trust each other and the common interests realization.Through literature analysis and empirical research,this paper design a scale in line in reference to domestic and foreign mature scales.There is five variables which are the influence of employees to make decision,employee participation,information transparency,trust each other and the common interests realization.The atmosphere is the measure of the harmonious labor relations.The dummy variable is the Labor Unions.This data to analyze is from a questionnaire survey which is researched in the non-union and union enterprises.381 copies are in recovery.Finally,on the premise of guarantee validity data,this paper does the single factor variance analysis,correlation and regression analysis using the statistical software SPSS 18.0.The assumptions put forward are verified and the paper comes to the conclusion.There is a significant linear correlation between the five aspects and the construction of labor relations atmosphere through the results of the empirical study.These five aspects play a prediction effect in building a harmonious labor relations.Through the introduction of dummy variables and the multiple linear regression,it can be concluded that the existence of trade union will improve the atmosphere of labor relations significantly,indicating that the trade union organization is effective in building harmonious labor relations. |
