Research On The Effect Of China's Intellectual Property Protection On Import Trade

The global economy is gradually recovering from the financial subprime mortgage crisis,the process of economic globalization and integration is further accelerating.International trade plays an increasingly important role in the economy.Therefore,maintain friendly and frequent trade with the world is of great significance for China's economic recovery and sustainable development.According to the statistics,China's import and export trade is gradually stabilizing,it's thanks to the gradual optimization of trade structure and trade forms,and part of the import and export growth is due to the implementation of the"The Belt and Road" policy,Related countries to further close trade."The Belt and Road" as one of the most important strategic policies of China in the 21st century is not only in line with the background of today's economic globalization and world multipolarization,which can further promote the formation and development of the global free trade system and the open world economy,but also a good opportunity for China's relevant regions and along the countries to get out of financial crisis impact and to get a new opportunity to develop."The Belt and Road" involves a total of 18 provinces,autonomous regions,municipalities,Eurasian non-three continents of dozens of countries and the surrounding marine areas,China Unicom range,involving a wide area.In promoting the development of China's central and western China at the same time also greatly promoted China and Central Asia and Southeast Asian countries related to trade cooperation,enhanced China and the relevant countries of the bilateral trade mechanism,expanding the regional cooperation platform,China has a deeper,broader and higher level of regional cooperation with these countries.But in the process of "The Belt and Road" 's promotion,the various problems are gradually highlighted.To a certain extent,hinder the cooperation between the two sides.Which is related to intellectual property issues.The relationship between intellectual property and trade has been around for a long time.Over the past few decades,the debate among scholars has focused on strengthening the question of whether intellectual property protection can stimulate the increase of international import and export trade.Therefore,There are many studies,but the specific conclusions are different from the research object and research background and other factors,and did not get a conclusion with applicability.Thus,on the "The Belt and Road" in the process of intellectual property related issues,more research value,but also need to attract the attention of all parties.Based on the above background,this paper chooses 19 countries with "The Belt and Road" along with China,and collects the trade data of China's overall import and sub-trade in 2001-2010.The introduction of multilateral trade resistance,this paper analyzes the influence of strengthening the protection level of China's overall intellectual property rights on China's import trade,and analyzes it from four aspects:overall trade,labor-intensive industry,capital-intensive industry and technology-intensive industry.Come to the final conclusion,and put forward relevant policy recommendations.For the country to promote the implementation of the "The Belt and Road" policy,the process of solving the relevant intellectual property issues,as well as China and the relevant countries of the import and export trade stability and prosperity and domestic intellectual property protection cause of the thriving.In the overall level of import trade,we should strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights in China,so that the "market expansion effect" to play a leading role in stimulating "The Belt and Road" in the process of expanding the scale of import trade.For labor-intensive industries,industry R&D and innovation should be encouraged to enhance the industry's ability to imitate while enhancing the level of intellectual property protection in the industry,to promote the industry into the third category of imported markets,so that the "market expansion effect" play a major role;For capital-intensive industries,in the promotion of intellectual property protection level,it should also increase its industry funds,technology,personnel and other aspects of support to promote all aspects of industry development;for technology-intensive industries,should increase the industry innovation Capital,policy,technical support and other aspects of the incentive to enhance the industry's independent research and development and innovation level,to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and patents for its technological development to provide a good environment.
