In 1917,the "February Revolution" broke out,Tsarist Russia was overthrown, and US-Russian relations fell into turmoil.More than six months later, the "October Revolution" broke out,the Soviet Socialist regime was established, and it spread on the old Russia,Europe, and even the world. The hostile position of the "red tide" of the United States, and the newly established Soviet Russia regime, did not formally recognize and establish diplomatic relations until 1933.Before the formal establishment of diplomatic relations, due to the influence of political relations and ideology, the economic relations between the United States and the Soviet Union were seriously affected, but the economic exchanges have not been cut off.The United States' refusal to recognize Soviet Russia politically and diplomatically has indeed caused great difficulties and threats to Soviet Russia. However, the development of this “informal” economic relationship has also given rise to the siege of the newly-found Soviet Socialist regime in the imperialist countries. It has provided conditions for obtaining "necessary" external resources in a harsh international relations environment. After the end of the First World War,Soviet Russia was deeply traumatized by the war and encountered great famine.U.S.official and unofficial forces, after a period of “hesitation”,for political purposes and to gain access to vast markets, the United States gradually began a series of economic assistance to Soviet Russia,in addition to Lenin's new economic policy. The implementation has also contributed to the development of the U.S.trade in Russia. After the outbreak of the US economic crisis in 1929,the United States urgently needed a vast market to expand exports. The Soviet Union, which urgently needed a large number of imported equipment and technologies, became the main target of U.S.exports,and the development of economic and trade exchanges accelerated the pace of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries to some extent. Many of the problems and phenomena reflected in the US-Soviet trade here are unprecedented and the impact is far-reaching.
