Research On The Effectiveness Of Online Review System For Cross-Border Travel Platform

Cross-border tourism is a component of cross-border trade in services.The sharing economy boom affects cross-border tourism service trade.Cross-border tourism accommodation platforms such as Airbnb develop rapidly and effective protection of consumer rights can promote the development of cross-border tourism trade.However,for cross-border travel consumers,the current consumer rights are vulnerable,and at the same time the new characteristics of the sharing economy also pose challenges to consumer protection.Government regulation and legal relief in traditional consumer protection mechanisms make consumer protection under the background of cross-border more difficult.At present,consumers of cross-border sharing economic service platforms rely mainly on reputation signals of market spontaneous mechanism,i.e.the online reviews system to regulate and protect themselves.This paper analyzes the new characteristics of the sharing economy of the cross-border tourism platform,builds an online reviews system effectiveness model through information asymmetry theory and signal theory and draws conclusions through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis.Finally provide the government with regulation advice of online reviews system for sharing economy platform.The innovation of this paper is the construction of an online reviews system effectiveness model and combines empirical analysis methods to explore the relationship between self-regulation and government regulation in the sharing economy.
