Tourism industry status is greatly improved in the context of Chinese economic transformation and upgrading;tourists are deeply anxious to back to nature and enjoy green because of severe environmental pollution problems,such as haze weather.In addition,wetland areas have been reduced sharply,and wetland resources have been seriously damaged.Those of facts have made development of ecological resources important,since which can not only meet the needs of consumers,but also promote scientific protection of wetland ecosystems.How to develop and promote wetland tourism from the point of view of marketing is of great value.To solve this problem,this paper takes Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park as study case.The current paper first introduces research topic,research values and research methods,then reviews literatures on tourism marketing and wetland tourism.To deep understanding of Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park,the paper introduces it and tourism resources it has.Finally,based on the theory of supply and demand,this paper analyzes Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park and marketing environment and tourist experience.The current study found that the Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park has regional advantages,nice resource environment and scientific planning,as well as disadvantages.Meanwhile,it faced certain development opportunities and threats.In terms of tourist experience,the natural resources and ecological environment,infrastructure and recreational facilities are the core contents.The results of SWOT analysis and SWOT strategy analysis,and 4P marketing theory,this paper proposes marketing strategies for Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park.
