Research On The Measurement Of Rural Poverty Line In China Based On Multi-dimensional Perspective

The problem of poverty has always been a major issue for a country and even the world.Poverty is a social phenomenon.It is caused by the unbalanced development of a region's economy,politics and culture,coupled with the interaction of natural conditions.The study of poverty in China is mainly about the identification of the poor,and then the right medicine can precisely reduce the poverty population and speed up the poverty alleviation.The measurement of the poverty line is the basis of the study of poverty,and is also a major basis for the evaluation of Poverty Alleviation Policies and anti poverty performance.China is the second largest country in the world,and has a relatively urgent theoretical need and strong demand for the way and how to identify the poverty measurement.It has extremely important political significance,economic significance and social significance.Therefore,the measurement of poverty line is not only for theory,but also for practical application.This paper systematically combs the origin and development of western poverty line,western poverty line mainly through the absolute poverty line,relative poverty line,development of subjective poverty line;analyzes the formulation methods and development process of China's rural poverty line,whether it is Engel or Martin coefficient of past method or method the modified Martin method,these methods are mainly dependent on the west,the introduction is the method of partial western and in the western areas of absolute poverty line.Through this study,the poverty line as the theory and basis of anti-poverty policy formulation,we think that we can enrich the poverty line on content,that is,multi dimensional analysis.The West has begun to analyze the issue of poverty from a multidimensional perspective,mainly for the discussion of poverty dimension and the measurement of each dimension.The theoretical basis and many aspects from the perspective of research on the poverty line and the formulation of the relevant factors,the establishment of model and empirical analysis,screening and excluding non significant variables,to adjust andoptimize the poverty line,make the localization of western poverty line,overcome poverty line measure dependence.This paper mainly includes the following main contents,firstly,the concept of poverty and poverty line and the correlation theory carding;secondly,the poverty line of China's rural development and existing problems are discussed;finally through the dimension construction and index selection on China's existing data processing and regression analysis to measure the poverty line.The empirical results in this paper show that the 4 dimensions and 5indicators of this study have a high degree of fit with the comparison of poverty line in China over the years.The data of this method can be obtained and operated simply.This study also finds that the four dimensions of economic development level,basic living standard,national poverty alleviation strategy and price level can be considered as several aspects of poverty line dimension measurement.
