Design Of Corn Production Insurance In Yunnan Province

As the foundation of national economy,agriculture plays an important role in stabilizing crop production and guaranteeing the basic living standard of farmers.It can protect the stability of farmers' output by transferring and dispersing agricultural risks,so as to promote the economic development of rural areas.However,the agricultural insurance in China started late,and the farmers' awareness of insurance is not strong enough.So far,only a small number of areas and farmers have participated in the agricultural insurance.Yunnan province is a major agricultural province.Because of its special geographical location,the risk of natural disasters is very large.However,so far,there has not been yield insurance for grain planting design in Yunnan Province,which is strongly contrasting with the actual demand of grain production in Yunnan province.Therefore,this paper has designed and studied the Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan Province,hoping to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the design and development of Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan province through this research.This paper first introduces the background significance of the research,the advantages of crop yield insurance,the current situation of maize planting in Yunnan province and the problems existing in the development of Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan province.Then,the design of Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan province is discussed,and the insurance target,insurance liability,insurance sum and compensation rule of Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan province are determined.In the part of empirical study this paper mainly do research and statistics according to the data of maize yield of 16 prefectures in Yunnan Province,the first to yield data of unstable regions of the time trend trend fitting area by linear sliding average method,and the corn yield data of Yunnan Province in the trend removed,after selection of yield distribution the model derived method,first by calculating the city historical data skewness and kurtosis to simple assumptions,through intuitive graphical judgment and goodness of fit test to determine the yield distribution model of each city,and according to the optimal city distribution on yield of Maize in regional insurance in Yunnan province were determined by the rate.The results show that: first,Yunnan province corn yield premium rate lower than the traditional corn planting insurance rates,the conclusion provides a theoretical support for the promotion of maize production in Yunnan province insurance;second,there are large differences between the rates of Maize Yield Insurance in Yunnan Province,the conclusion of regional agricultural insurance premium policy and the enhancement of government the agricultural insurance subsidies provided theoretical basis for the implementation of the government.
