Since the emergence of corn,has become one of the major food crops mankind,it plays an important role in the human diet structure.Especially in recent years,the use of corn is more widely, not only for the people to solve the food problem, and the feed ingredients of livestock, and more and more used in industrial areas, such as the corn to make ethanol fermentation, corn after the industry processing become methanol used as energy source.Therefore, the importance of corn has increased to a high degree of strategic security. We must be more emphasis on the development of the corn industry in the future.Firstly, corn production conditions,the production area layout,production status of Shanxi Province,and corn standing in Shanxi agriculture and the national economy were analyzed development status of maize production in Shanxi;Secondly, to natural disasters, variety breeding, farmland with effective irrigation area, the amount of fertilizer and the level of agricultural mechanization and other factors on the impact of maize production in Shanxi province are analyzed in theory;Thirdly,by using C-D production function model quantitative analyzed corn yield per unit area influence factors of employment quantity,fertilizer costs, rental costs, other material costs and planting area of corn.Finally draw the conclusion that development of corn industry in Shanxi province of great potential, great influence on yield of corn in corn variety qualityd and the effective of scientific management methods can effectively improve the yield of corn etc. The healthy and fast development of corn productive in Shanxi province can actively promote the economic development and people’s living standards improve, also can inject needle cardiotonic for food security and strategic security in china.
