| Quick changeover(QCO),as a premise of improving on time delivery rate and reducing non value-added activities when production line exchanges products,is a great help for many multi variety and small batch type enterprise.As one of the most important tools for implementation of lean production(LP),quick changeover technology is the best way to reduce the changeover time.Study finds that high frequency and long time of product exchange would result in serious waiting phenomenon for personnel,equipment and material in the production workshop.Starting from the analysis and application of quick changeover in workshop,this article studys how to build flexible production line for reducing interruption frequency and how to optimize the process of product exchange for reducing the waste of work time,so as to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises.Based on the analysis of operation situation of T company,the theory of production process flexibility is applied to the operation improvement project of product exchange.Combining with the actual production situation of the workshop,the research brings quick changeover technology into the production line of T company.At first,for reducing interruption frequency,this article divides company products into product family by rank-order dustering algorithm and sets up flexible production system based on the theory of process flexibility.Then,by layout optimization,this study cuts down the moving distance of work-in-process(WIP)and eliminates the turning back phenomenon which being found in production process.Finally,through identifying the internal and external operations of changeover,making the internal operations being external and optimizing internal and external operations,the research solves the problem of long time changeover.By the improvement of product exchange work process,the study eliminates some non value-added operations and simplifys some operation methods,so then,reducing the interruption frequency and shortening the changeover time. |
