With the continuous advancement and development of the information age,science and technology play a more and more important role in promoting the development of human society.Science and technology is the source of energy that can inexhaustible development of kinetic energy in the country or region.And innovation is not only the first driving force to lead the development,but also the supporting force for the construction of the modern economic system.Based on the relevant theory and research achievements of the scholars at home and abroad,firstly,the present situation of scientific and technological innovation(scientific and technological input and scientific and technological output)and the current situation of regional economy of Hebei are analyzed.Then we set up an index system that can reflect the science and technology input,output and economic growth of Hebei scientifically and comprehensively.Based on the 2005-2015 years related index data of Hebei Province,we use objective weighting entropy method to calculate index weight and comprehensive index score.Finally,through the correlation test of index data,the establishment of VAR model,and the co integration theory and Granger causality test method,we empirically analyze the interaction between Hebei's science and technology input,technology output and economic growth.Through the above analysis,we get the following conclusions: First,Hebei's investment in science and technology increased at a faster speed.The output of science and technology has also been significantly improved in terms of quantity and quality.However,the economy of Hebei province is gradually changing to low speed and steady growth situation,and the economic structure is optimized.Second,Pearson correlation test among variables in index system shows that there is a strong correlation between science and technolog`y input's,output's and economic growth's indicators of Hebei.Third,there are relatively perfect causality among investment and output in science and technology and economic growth of Hebei province.It is shown as follows: Hebei's economic growth is the Granger cause of science and technology input;the Granger reason of technology input is science and technology output,and the output of science and technology and economic growth areGranger reasons.Forth,the VAR model results show that there is not only a lagging impact between Hebei's technology input,technology output and economic fluctuation,but also the impact of the same period.Fifth,the cointegration test results show that there is a long-term and stable equilibrium relationship between scientific and technological input,scientific and technological output and economic growth.
