Research On The Evaluation And Selection Of Construction Enterprise Suppliers Under The Background Of Low Carbon

With the continuous progress of technology and the increasing of human material wealth,at the same time,the development pattern based on consumption of fossil energy makes environmental problems increasingly prominent.Due to the characteristics of wide area,long duration,high degree of influence,the phenomenon of global warming has attracted worldwide attention.Under this background,In order to lessen carbon dioxide emissions and facilitate environmental protection,"low carbon economy","low-carbon city" and so on came into being.Guided by the government and related policies,low carbon economy have put forward a new way of life and production for the state,community and citizens.As for enterprises,they are not merely the subject of the market economy to promote the rapid economic development,but also should undertake the social responsibility to improve the environment.In early 1960s,scholars had already carried out related exploration on theories of supply chain and its management.As an economical and efficient means of management,supply chain management effectively integrate enterprises' resources,specialize enterprise process and improve the operation productivity of the supply chain.Over the years of development,supply chain management has not only confined to the manufacturing process of the operation,but expand its connotation and application during its development.As the pillar of our country,construction industry involves plenty of stakeholders in supply chain and its project has the characteristics of complex technology.With introduce of supply chain management to the construction industry,it will play an important role in optimizing resources,establishing partnerships and changing the strategic development idea of building enterprise integration.In the development process of construction industry,vendor selection is easy to ignore,however,it is very important on affecting the efficiency of construction supply chain.Only construction enterprises master the management of supply chain and select appropriate suppliers and partners,can construction enterprises' sustainable development be achieved.The study takes low-carbon economy as background,combines the reality of low carbon society and aims at the selection of suppliers of construction enterprises.In the view of the construction industry characteristics,we establish a comprehensive evaluation index system to adapt to the economic environment and sustainable development strategy.On the basis of traditional indicators,we take the low carbon environmental indicators into consideration to evaluate suppliers' low carbon environmental protection behavior.This study consider the suppliers' product quality,cost,delivery and service ability of enterprises,financial situation,cooperation stability and low-carbon and environmental protection ability as 6-level indicators and 23 secondary indicators in order to make the supplier selection scientific and effective.This study will take A company as an example,analyze and evaluate the alternative suppliers' data to get the most suitable one for the enterprise's long-term strategic planning and sustainable development,then explain and analyze the evaluation results to prove the rationality of the preliminary research.Considering low-carbon economy,this paper discusses the supplier evaluation and selection process and puts forward possible suggestions for the construction enterprises in the supplier selection problem:(1)Pay attention to suppliers' information management and make evaluation system for vendor selecting comprehensive.(2)Investigate the potential of suppliers and establish long-term strategic partnership.(3)Maintain the relationship between supplier and the enterprise,broaden friendly communication channels.(4)Emphasize on the evaluation of suppliers' environmental protection level and develop sustainable supply chain.As for the structure,the first part is the exordium which mainly introduces the background and the proposition of the problem.The second part is the optimal theory.we make this study according to the theory of low-carbon economy and the content of supply chain theory.The third part is to set up a model for evaluating of suppliers in construction enterprises.Through the literature review and investigation of supplier selection in construction enterprises,we establish scientific index system according to the comprehensive and flexible,simple and feasible principle and the principle of combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,then evaluate alternative suppliers.Finally,through the case analysis,we try to verify the evaluation index system and selection model feasible.
