In the developing nations,especially in the dual economic structure obviously countries,Labor migration is the important way to realize human resource optimize configuration,Promote economic development and reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas.The research on the motivation of labor transfer has been concerned by economists and the research has been very fruitful so far.However,Review the domestic and foreign study found that few scholars have paid close attention to the influence on labor migration by the family labor quantity especially the only-child family.Since the 80 s,China implemented the one-child policy in the city strictly and widely,and this policy gradually relax until 2015.It can be said that the only-child family is characteristic of a population phenomenon in China.At present,the only-child has brought a lot of special effects.So,What is the influence of the only child factors on labor transfer?Firstly,this paper analyzes the current Chinese labor migration,the changes in family structure and characteristics,the classical theory of labor migration,and establish the theoretical model of labor migration on the basis of household income maximization,and then Found that the labor quantity of a family and the probability of labor migration present a positive correlation,namely that the more family labor quantity,the more conducive to the transfer of labor.Specially,the labor migration probability of the only-child is the lowest.Then,this paper analyzes the influence of the only child factors on labor force transfer by using Logit binary discrete choice models,and based on the CHNS data,with labor migration,the time of go home as the dependent variable,the one-child as explanatory variables,at the same time control of the labor force individual characteristics,family characteristics and regional characteristics.The results showed that:(1)The only-child variable will be harmful to labor migration from the perspective of the parents;If husband is an only child,it will be a negative impact on women's labor migration from the perspective of the in-laws home.Namely the only-child tends to be nearer to their parents;(2)It will be an adverse impact on labor migration if the labors need to care for the elderly,and the transfer of the only-child will bring a series of pension problem;(3)This paper Also found that the variables of the level of education,age,health,and child care will also bring effects on labor migration.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper puts forward some Suggestions:(1)The government should Solve the Work family conflict of the only-child;(2)The government should Solve the problem of the left-behind elderly;(3)The government should establish old-age security for the foreign elderly.
