Study On Development Status And Core Competitiveness Of Maize Industry In Yulin

As one of the world's largest food crops,corn planting area is the largest among the area of other food crops in our country.It is not only edible,but also can be used to feed,produce energy and so on.Yulin is the main produce place for corn in shaanxi province,but there are still a series of problems in its production,processing and sales.It is of great significance to understand the development status of the corn industry in yulin and put forward the countermeasures to improve the core competitiveness of the corn industry.Firstly,this paper analyzed the core competitiveness of the domestic and foreign industries,and put forward the core competitive evaluation system for cause index and result index.Next,the present corn industry development situation in yulin city was analyzed and found that there exist three links of problems including production,processing and sale which seriously restricted the development of yulin corn industry.Then,the core competitiveness of the corn industry in yulin was analyzed from the level of government and enterprise again.Finally,the paper proposed methods to improve the core competitiveness of yulin corn industry according to problems existed in the development of the corn industry in yulin city.These strategies may provide a theoretical guidance for improving corn industry core competitiveness and put forward opinions and suggestions for the development of maize industry in yulin city.At the same time,they could also be used for reference in similar areas of corn industry development.The main results were as follows:1.The empirical analysis was carried on to improve the core competitiveness of corn industry in yulin city.We found that:(1)the government level of policy support in yulin city still need to be improved and the project construction and promotion still need to be further strengthened;(2)the core competence of three enterprises was that Yulin livestock and poultry company>Haifeng seed industry> Dingbian sai xue food and oil industry.Overall the core competitiveness of corn industry is not strong,because the main business income of the three companies was generally low,net profit growth was low and the labour efficiency is low.2.In view of the problems existed in the corn industry,concrete countermeasures were put forward for corn industrial development in yulin city and improving the corn industry corecompetitiveness:(1)proper methods and principles can be used in corn production to balance maize yield in different area and increase the speed of the varieties of germplasm update.The strategy of leading enterprise promoting should be implemented,agricultural research and development should be strengthened and circular agriculture should be largely developed and so on.(2)the support system of the corn industry policy should be gradually established and the corn production structure should be improved and adjusted.(3)adjusted the circulation system of the corn,strengthened the exchange of information on the product market,expanded the marketing channels of the corn market,and optimized the product marketing mix.
