The Research Of Storage Pricing Model In Container Terminal And Remote Container Yard

The competition in international container transportation market is fierce,and as an important part of transportation system,how to make prize decision of container terminal and remote container yard to influence customer's need and yard's profit,in order to reduce the operation cost of yard,to improve the level and efficiency of operating,are all urgent problems to be solved for operators.With the extensive construction of the remote container yard around the container terminal,the relation of container terminal and remote container yard becomes a key issue to decide.According to the different subjects of decision,the relation mode can be divided into non-cooperation mode and cooperation mode,and pricing strategies of container terminal and remote container yard in two types of relation mode also affect the operation efficiency of the container yard.That is to say,in order to gain promotion and improve work efficiency,the container terminal should decide the working relationship with the remote container yard and the pricing strategies under the different relation modes;while the cooperation contract mode for the both sides is also the important issues for terminal operators to consider and decide.As for the pricing problem of container yard,firstly,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the container terminal and remote container yard,summarizes the stacking strategy of container terminal and remote container yard,and puts forward to the influence factors and the concepts of supply chain coordination for container terminal and remote container yard,and then analyzes principle and applicability of the supply chain cooperation contract which can achieve the supply chain coordination.Secondly,a container storage pricing model based on non-cooperation and cooperation between a container terminal and a remote container yard is developed.The shipper's storage behavior,the container terminal's and the remote container yard's pricing decision-making are formulated.Furthermore,a developing revenue-sharing contract model is formulated,and the relationship between the contract parameters is analyzed.Finally,a numerical example is used to verify the results.Results indicate that the cooperation model's profit is larger than the non-cooperation model's,the application of effective c can achieve the supply chain coordination,and the status of perfect and win-win coordination is achieved when the contract parameters meet certain conditions.Meanwhile,the cooperation model designed by developing revenue-sharing contract increases the effectiveness of container terminal and eases the traffic jams in container terminal.
