The Research Of Regional Economy Of Hunan Province In Spatial-temporal Differentiation Based On New Economic Geography

Regional economic disparity is a common phenomenon during regional developing,on the premise of highly freedom of trade,production factors will flow freely between areas and choose suitable area for its development under the price mechanism,manufacturers tend to choose a larger market and lower transaction cost area,economic activity is bound to gather in the superior district,and through the circulating cumulative effect continuously strengthening its agglomeration advantage,eventually led to the regional economic spatial-temporal differentiation.Moderate regional economic disparity can promote the rapid development of economic agglomeration areas,however,the excessive economic development will threaten the coordinated development of the region.Located in the central region of China,Hunan province has a superior geographical location,good natural conditions,convenient transportation,in recent years,great achievements have been made in economic construction,but there are also differences in regional economic disparity,it has become an important factor affecting the coordinated development of economy and social stability.Therefore,further study of the regional economic spatial-temporal differentiation formation mechanism and influence factors of regional economic differentiation,it has reference value for the relevant departments who formulate regional economic development planning and coordinate regional economy development.Based on summarizing the previous research findings,this article is written on the foundation of relative theory of new economic geography,and takes“core-edge”model as the starting point to study the formation mechanism of county economy differentiation in Hunan province.And then this article calculates the economy difference between counties in Hunan province by using the method of regional difference calculation in statistics,and compares difference in economy growth rate and class structure between counties.It takes exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA)to the county's economy level and combines Moran index and Hotspot analysis method to explore the spatial association and economic focus of county economy in Hunan province.Finally,according to the distribution characteristics of county economy,it sets spatial econometric model to find factors that influences county economy in Hunan province.The results show that:(1)Difference in county economy increases firstly,and then decreases from 2004 to 2014,and reached the peak value in 2009.(2)County economy in Hunan province has significant spatial autocorrelation.County of "H-H"type and economic hot mainly concentrated in Changsha,Zhuzhou,Xiangtan and surrounding counties.In the meanwhile,the opposite counties transfer from Xiangxi State,Huaihua to Shaoyang.(3)County economy in Hunan province is positively related to the following five indicators:market size,investment density,market level,industry and urbanization rate,while population density has significant negative impact on county economy.In the end,according to the above conclusions,this article come up with some suggestions to promote county economy development in Hunan province and narrow the difference in regional economy.
