Research On Project Planning And Implementation Of SMP Systems Of Yinhai Aluminum Co.,Ltd.

As an indispensable technology,IT application has been promoted and used to propel and accelerate industrialization.Great efforts have been made by China who energetically promotes IT application and use IT to propel and accelerate industrialization.Nowadays,the importance of IT is widely approved,and information systems are progressively taking part in production and management details of companies.The role of information systems is switched from the original backstage supporter to the direct drive for new businesses,and become a basal platform to build a company's core competitive strength.In 1990s,varities of management information systems such as MIS?ERP and DCS were applied to Chinese companies,while many of them failed to achieve the desired objectives or even abolished due to the indifference of management levels and conditions of the companies.How to choose a proper management information system that is in accord with the management level and objective condition of the company becomes a key decision.Therefore,careful consideration must be made in carrying out the Information planning.The author is working for Yinhai Aluminum Co.,Ltd.owned by Guangxi Investment Group Co.,Ltd.As one of the main designers of SMP(Systematic Management Platform)of the company,the author takes the example of building the SMP to discuss the necessity,possibility,framework design,main functions and application of an information system based on the scope of management thinking and reasonable input,so as to provide experiences and references to utilize the SMP for electrolytic aluminum enterprise.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter gives brief introduction to the Yinhai Aluminum Co.,Ltd.and analyzes the company's IT application status,demand and medium and long-term strategy planning.The second chapter analyzes the management characteristic of the company and the necessity and possibility of applying the SMP,and on this basis,17 goals are proposed on the management system.The third chapter introduces the mode and framework of SMP and analyzes the method to choose a proper mode in accordance with the company's features.The fourth chapter introduces the SMP's main modules and their control logics.The fifth chapter introduces the implementation methods and procedures of SMP,and analyzes success factors such as management flow reform,corporate culture and group spirit.The last chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the results of this project and the impact of the project on Yinhai Aluminum Co.,Ltd.
