ZF Company as a member unit of Aviation Industry Corporation of China(AVIC)was founded in May,1960.With registered capital of 263.4095 million yuan and covering an area of about 1,100 mu,it has 2,182 working staff,342 management staff,464 professional technicians and 3 experts receiving government allowance.In 2016,it achieved business profit of 2.12 billion yuan and net profit of 80.74 million yuan.By the end of 2016,the total assets have reached 3.496 billion yuan.As the key enterprise in China,ZF Company specializes in developing and manufacturing suspension and release equipment and ground support system;it has national enterprise technology center and nationally approved environmental laboratory center;it is also digital manufacturing model enterprise approved by Commission of Science,Technology and Industry for National Defense(COSTIND),information model enterprise in Henan and high-tech enterprise in Henan.Under background of new normal economy,this thesis regards the Guidelines on Deepening the Reform of State-owned Enterprise(Document No.22 [2015])jointly issued by the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council as programmatic document guiding and carrying forward the reform of state-owned enterprises,and integrates the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference held from Dec.14,2016 to Dec.16,2016 in Beijing and the mission of military enterprises.Under the premise of the national strategy of deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises,the thesis takes ZF company—a military enterprise typical of machinery manufacturing as an example and presents the status of implementing diversification strategy;meantime,it studies the difficulties and problems in diversification strategy and analyzes the reasons for such problems and their adverse effects.In addition,it makes an analysis of internal and external environment of ZF Company development.By means of management theory and relative management tools,the advantages and disadvantages of diversification strategy and strategy of focusing on main business are compared so as to optimize the resource allocation of military enterprise,adjust existing industrial structure and enhance enterprise core competitiveness.The features and innovations of the research are mainly manifested in the following aspects.On the one hand,the thesis points out the problems of diversification strategy in ZF Company and their adverse influences in the company through the research analysis of diversification strategy.On the other hand,it determines the development strategy of focusing on main business and the strategic adjustment orientation for the company;and it puts forward the guaranteeing measures for implementing the strategy of focusing on main business as well.The significance of the study lies in two aspects—decision-making significance of ZF Company and reference significance of similar military enterprises.
