Research On Sino Vietnam Cross-border Economic Cooperation Zone

Nowadays,the economic globalization and regional economic integration have become the important trend of the world economic evelopment,and the innovation of cooperation mode is an important subject which the countries all over the world are constantly exploring.The concept of "cross border economic cooperation zone" provides a new idea for the regional integration of the world.Construction of a Chinese Honghe streets of Vietnam cross-border economic cooperation zone,it is in the China ASEAN Free Trade Area(CAFTA),Great Mekong River sub region economic cooperation(GSM)is an important strategic deloyment and the "two corridors and one ring" three international regional cooperation under the framework of the implementation will further promote economic integration Chinese and ASEAN process,and play a positive demonstration effect in the world.At the same time,as a new model of cross-border economic cooperation zone to promote the opening of border area,is a strategic choice China balance eastern and southwestern inland economic and social development.At present,the construction of a China Honghe streets of Vietnam cross-border economic cooperation zone,is the United Nations Development Program(UNDP)and China government"bridgehead" strategy under the support of continuos progress,has achiveved some results.Firstly,this paper defines the concept of cross-border economic cooperation zone and elaborates the relevant theories of cross-border economic cooperation zone.Secondly,it analyzes the dynamic mechanism,condition and development status of China-Vietnam cross-border economic cooperation zone construction.The paper analyzes the effect of Sino-Vietnamese cross-border economic cooperation zone from the border area and regional cooperation,and discusses in detail the obstacle factors in the development of China-Vietnam cross-border economic cooperation zone.Finally,in the empirical part,this paper adopts the Sino-Vietnamese cross-border economic cooperation zone to cover the import and export data of China’s Yunnan Province,Guangxi Province and Guangning Province,Liangshan Province and Laojie Province,Vietnam.Through the construction of the boundary effect model,the conclusion is as follows:China and Vietnam border areas do exist boundary effects,and show a significant border shielding effect.Secondly,after the start of the Sino-Vietnamese cross-border economic cooperation zone in 2007,the boundary shielding effect has weakened.Finally,this paper discusses that the tariff level and the cultural distance are the possible channels for the border to play a shielding effect on trade development.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:First,this paper systematically summarizes the experiences and achievements of cross-border economic cooperation at home and abroad,and analyzes the status quo and experience of China-Vietnam cross-border economic cooperation zone,Is the study of the existing cross-border economic cooperation in the micro-refinement.Second,before the scholars in the exploration of cross-border economic cooperation zone,the main are the use of theoretical research.On this basis,this paper also uses the method of empirical research to study the border effect of Sino-Vietnamese border areas,the influence of cross-border economic cooperation zone on border effect and the mechanism of boundary effect.
