Research On Rural Female Labor Mobility In Luyi County

With the improvement of agricultural production and the improvement of agricultural science and technology,a large number of rural female labor force flow to cities.At present,there are about 27.54 million rural surplus labor force who need to transfer employment in Henan Province.About one-third of them are rural women.From a gender perspective,women in rural areas tend to be more fluid and constrained by the constraints than rural men.As a province with a large population,Henan Province should handle the problem of rural female labor mobility in the process of new urbanization.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to analyze the flow of rural female labor in the new urbanization from the current situation of rural female labor mobility in Luyi County,Henan Province.Based on the theory of human capital,the model of labor mobility and the theory of home-based division of labor,this article explores the flow of rural female labor force in Luyi County by reading a large amount of domestic and foreign literature.Then,through the field survey,taking 354 rural female labors as samples,this paper probes into the status quo of rural laborers' mobility,the problem of mobility,the causes of the problems and the influencing factors of mobility.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Based on the sampling survey of rural female labors' mobility in Luyi County,Henan Province,this paper uses the data collected from the questionnaire to describe the characteristics of rural women's labor force,the characteristics of their mobility and the current employment status through data statistical analysis The current situation of rural female labor mobility in Luyi County further explains the problems that arise in rural female labor force and the causes of the problems.Then,we use the econometric model further and use the binary logistics regression to analyze the main factors that affect the rural female labor mobility in Luyi County,and draw the conclusion.Analysis shows that with the rapid development of society and economy,more and more rural female laborers begin to migrate to cities and towns.Factors that mainly affect rural female workforce mobility include age,professional labor skills,educational level,presence of preschool children in the home,presence or absence of school children,health of the elderly,status of marriage,and whether they are affected by their husbands or not.Finally,we put forward some suggestions from three aspects to improve the living status of rural female labors in Luyi County and promote their development.
