Research On The Export Trade Potential Of Mechanical And Electrical Products Under The "One Belt And One Road" Strategy

With the proposal of "One Belt And One Road" strategy construction in China,it is very important to promote the economic level of countries along the belt and road,which can help to expand our international influence.In recent years,Chinese foreign trade volume has been increasing gradually,and the total import and export volume ranks second in the world.Mechanical and electronic products have a significant share in the export of industrial products,which is an important product category for China participation in international trade.Mechanical and electrical products export in our country has the world first,embodies the comprehensive national strength of our country strong,but with the enlargement of the mechanical and electrical products export trade volume,also gradually became the mainstay of China's foreign trade of mechanical and electronic products,which means that will face more fierce competition,thus for mechanical and electrical products export problems cannot be ignored.Based on the existing research,this paper firstly analyzes the current situation of Chinese exports from the current situation of mechanical and electrical products,product structure,export mode and market.Secondly,according to a 2000-2015 in our country on the neighborhood all the way along the route and the mechanical and electrical products export trade of 34 countries along the panel data,the gravity of construction of stochastic frontier model to carry on the empirical analysis,and use the likelihood ratio test method to test the set and applicability of the model,then estimate the stochastic frontier model of gravity equation,mechanical and electrical products export trade in our country according to the model equations show efficiency value,and based on the efficiency of potential value to our country mechanical and electrical products export trade measure is analyzed.Finally,based on the dual perspective of marginal and intensive marginal two direction from the decomposition of the implementation of export growth path,and then to our country the realization of the mechanical and electrical products trade growth path for the corresponding analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:firstly,the export of mechanical and electrical products in China is already in the first place in the world,and the international status is constantly improving,and the market space of mechanical and electrical products is huge.The processing trade mode is still the main export way,the product added value is low,cannot bring the enterprise to bring the fat profit.From the perspective of the export region is given priority to with developed countries,including Asia,North America and Europe are the important mechanical and electrical products trade market,only a small amount of other products exports to Latin America,Africa and Oceania.Second,the market share of Chinese mechanical and electrical products exporting "One Belt And One Road" has a certain growth trend from 2009 to 2016,but its share is still small.However,the proportion of countries that export "One Belt And One Road" is still larger,but there is a slight downward trend.Overall,the export market remains dominated by a handful of countries,with the US market accounting for the largest share and close to a third.Third,Chinese per capita GDP have a negative effect on the mechanical and electrical products export trade,while the importer of per capita GDP has positive effect on trade,explain importer economic strength of ascension is helpful to promote the development of trade.Exporter and importer of population and the mechanical and electrical products export trade of our country has a significant positive correlation,conform to the expectations theory,shows that the larger the market capacity more conducive to promoting the development of export trade.And the space distance has a negative effect on exports.It may be that the increase in transport costs will hinder trade and reduce the volume of trade.In addition,the non-efficiency factor of trade results in the larger difference between actual trade volume and trade potential,indicating that there is obvious trade friction.From the perspective of country,China's export trade efficiency of mechanical and electrical products in Singapore and Myanmar is the most efficient;indicating that China's trade resistance with these countries is small.Fourth,the growth of the export of mechanical and electrical products in countries along the One Belt And One Road is derived from the synergistic effect of expanding marginal and intensive marginal.Expands the marginal point of view,the area all the way along the country's major trading partners in the extension of the marginal whole high,fully illustrates the degree of product diversity of mechanical and electrical products export in our country is higher,but small.All the way to area of the expansion of the national mechanical and electrical products export trade growth along the marginal overall high also,Chinese for area of countries along the overlapping product variety is more mechanical and electrical products exports.From the perspective of intensive marginal,"One Belt And One Road" countries along the intensive margin shows relatively obvious growth,suggests that the neighborhood all the way to China national mechanical and electrical products export growth along the way is implemented by the growth of the intensive margin.But for the area all the way along the mechanical and electrical products export growth of intensive marginal differences,in general,intensive marginal contribution to our country had a greater influence on the mechanical and electrical products export growth,namely in mechanical and electrical export product category under the condition of small amplitude change,existing products of export growth mode determines the most mechanical and electrical products export growth direction.Comprehensive the above mechanical and electrical products export of our country market,commodity structure,trade way,and trade growth potential and realize the way of empirical analysis,this paper gets the following Suggestions:first,improve the government policies,encourage technological innovation,increase government funding support.Second,actively expand the international market and implement diversified strategies.Third,we should improve the quality of mechanical and electrical products in our country,so as to steadily promote the growth of intensive marginal growth.Fourth,strengthen supervision and reduce trade frictions.Fifth,strive to optimize the international trade environment,continuously improve China's export trade efficiency,and tap the potential of trade as much as possible.
