We have entered the era of knowledge economy,just as Peter Drucker said:"the knowledge will go beyond the land,labor,capital and other production equipment production,has become the key determinants of organizational development.Organizations can actually exist in the fierce competition in a certain extent depends on the company's level of knowledge and technology.As the core of knowledge management,knowledge sharing can accelerate the internal circulation of knowledge,and then improve the organizational innovation ability.As a result,the extent of knowledge sharing within the organization has a significant impact on organizational development.In the past thirty years,on the basis of Western cultural value research,the theoretical research of leadership behavior has been everywhere,and the results are fruitful.The cultural differences between East and West are insurmountable barriers to the study of leadership behavior,so many Chinese scholars begin to study paternalistic leadership.The relationship between paternalistic leadership and employee performance,employee voice and other variables have been confirmed,however,knowledge sharing is not only influenced by the different levels of knowledge attributes,knowledge of the subject;influence and organizational communication technology,interpersonal communication and psychological state of micro factors.Leadership is the core of an organization.It plays a key role in the whole process of knowledge creation,acquisition,sharing,application and transformation into the competitive advantage of an organization.Based on the literature review and analysis,this paper aims to explore the relationship between paternalistic leadership and employee knowledge sharing from the perspective of employees,and to focus on the impact mechanism of leader member exchange as mediator.This paper first defines the concept of research variables,and gives the research framework.Second,this paper conducts a literature study,and presents 4 general hypotheses and 6 sub hypotheses.Third,taking knowledge workers as the research object,carries on the questionnaire survey and uses SPSS 19.0 and AMOS21.0 as data analysis tools.288 valid questionnaires were collected for the empirical analysis.Explore the influence of paternalistic leadership on employee knowledge sharing behavior,and analyze the mediating effect of leader member exchange.Finally,the results are as follows:(1)Paternalistic leadership and benevolent leadership have positive correlation with knowledge sharing behavior of knowledge workers,and have a significant predictive effect on employee knowledge sharing behavior.(2)The leader member exchange plays a part intermediary role on employees'knowledge share in paternalistic leadership role,namely the influence of paternalistic leadership on employee knowledge sharing behavior are part of the exchange is an intermediary variable role by leading members.
