Over forty years of development,the cashmere industry in Qinghe County of Hebei Province has developed from primary processing to a more perfect industrial chain.It has become the leading industry of Qinghe and an important characteristic cluster industry in Hebei Province.At present,Qinghe is the largest cashmere raw material processing and distributing center and the largest cashmere spinning base in China.It is also a national important production and marketing cashmere products base.Qinghe has won an honorable reputation:The top-class cashmere is made in China and Qinghe turns out its most highly-qualified cashmere.However,with the growing development of the cashmere industry cluster in Tongxin County and Lingwu City and the growing growth of Puyuan Town as representation for the sweater industry cluster,the converging attack between the North and the South has formed a huge impact on the development of Qinghe cashmere industry.Additionally,the competition of the cashmere industry has gradually changed from the price competition to the technology innovation,the channel and the brand competition.The cashmere industry in Qinghe County is facing a huge test.In recent years,because of the intensification competition in market and its own weakness,the development of cashmere industry in Qinghe has been bland.Therefore,the author adopts a series of methods such as literature review,enterprise investigation and case analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,aiming at combining the actual situation of the cashmere industry in Qinghe and the advanced theory of economics to find out the main problems which restrict the development of the cashmere industry in this area.Ultimately,the article put forward some countermeasures and suggestions which are conducive to the development of cashmere industry in this area.
