Cashmere goat,an important breed of animal husbandry and featuring preciousness and high quality unmatched by most varieties,has been known as “national treasure”.The development of cashmere goats has a long history,In China,different regions have their own breeds of cashmere goats.Xiuyan county in Anshan city,Liaoning province has been famous for its unique and improved breeds of Cashmere goat over the years,Its market prospect is very broad,the development of cashmere goat industry can effectively adjust the rural industrial structure,improve the local economic level,increase farmers' income,improve the living standard of the people,and lay the foundation for farmers to get rich.Now the development of Xiuyan county cashmere goat has become the pillar industry in the region,greatly improving the economic strength of the region.However,there are many problems which will restrain the industry from sustianable development in the development of cashmere goat industry,such as poor market supervision,low quality management level,poor policy support,technical standardization,quality standardization,lack of financial support and so on.This paper puts forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions to cashmere goats industry development and economic strength,relying on local industry foundation and resources superiority and market prospect and development experience at domestic and abroad,investigations and surveys in the field a deep understanding from field work,which are: control the circulation of improved varieties strictly,strengthen the introduction of technical and professional talents of the field,expand the inflow of funds and establish the cashmere goat industry group,increase the development of processing industry,improve market occupancy rate,establish a strong brand advantage.These suggestions will provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of cashmere goat industry in xiuyan county of Anshan city.
