With the popularity of the Internet,fixed line communications enterprises have also been better opportunities for development.But in recent years,the annual growth rate of telecom operators has been slow,already lower than the growth rate of domestic GDP.At the same time,the domestic demand for Internet access services has increased year by year,which is a huge confusion for the fixed line communications operators.Beijing Telecom Beijing company(hereinafter referred to as:Beijing Telecom)in a period of time also encountered the same confusion.The company after 10 years of rapid development,in 2012 after the development of fixed network business of Beijing Telecom has encountered a bottleneck,also decrease the growth rate of development,do not match with a lot of labor costs,marketing investment funds,business development has no good effect.However,the fixed telecommunications business in Beijing has been restored to the track of rapid development.What is the reason for this change in Beijing Telecom?This paper will study the competitive strategy of Beijing Telecom's fixed network,analyze the reasons for its competitive strategy,the implementation process and the results,and point out the challenges faced by its strategy.I hope this paper provides an example for the development of related fixed line communication enterprises,which will enlighten the correct choice of enterprises and the implementation of competitive strategy.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,and expounds the research ideas and methods.The second part described the communication market development status,then introduces the theory of competitive strategy,based on the basic theory as the starting point,from the domestic and foreign advanced ideas,lists the various types of competitive strategy,the strategy is divided into different levels,to push into clear strategic direction.The third part firstly introduces the background of Beijing telecom company,the main business of the company and the transformation of the former strategy,using PEST method to analyze Beijing Telecom's external environment,including political,economic,social and cultural impact and technology environment of Beijing Telecom,with Potter's five forces model to analyze the industrial environment,and analyzes the Beijing Telecom's internal environment,points out the necessity of strategic transformation of Beijing telecom.The fourth part uses SWOT analysis method to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Beijing Telecom respectively.Then operate IFE,EFE and other tools,quantitative analysis of the internal and external environment,and through the QSPM matrix for strategic choice,according to the selected results to reconstruct the enterprise strategy.The implementation effect,the fifth part of the Beijing Telecom Competition strategy achievements for the comprehensive analysis and evaluation,based on the analysis of evaluation mainly adopts empirical analysis and comparison of the data,but also analyzes the problems and challenges faced by Beijing telecom.And according to the new internal and external environment at the present stage,the author puts forward some suggestions on the competition strategy of Beijing Telecom in the strategic transformation.
