The Yangtze River Delta region is China's largest economic zone.The central government sees it as China's strongest economic center,the most advanced manufacturing base of global area.In recent years,the patent applications of Yangtze River Delta region has accounted for about one third of the country's patent applications.Although the proportion of the Yangtze River Delta' economy in the national economy has declined in recent years;the total economic volume of the four parts of the Yangtze River Delta accounted for about 24% from 2011 to 2015,but the Yangtze River Delta region still comes first among regional economic areas in China and is also among the six largest city group in the world and is also the highland of national innovation activities.In recent years,the cooperation of patent of the regions has been risen to the strategic level,the patent of cooperative output is an important index to measure the cooperation of technology.This paper analyses the city as the research unit,using the State Intellectual Property Office patent data to build patent database of cooperation,using social network analysis method to analyze the overall characteristics of technical cooperation network of Yangtze River Delta region.Using gravity model based on the construction of the research to analyze the influencing factors of regional patent cooperation and status of each city in the patent cooperation network of Yangtze River Delta region and also do research on the institutional type and technical field of patent cooperation.Then make corresponding policy recommendations for effective cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta area.Hope this paper can bring some enlightenment and help to the patent cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta area.
