The 21st Century is an era of commodity economy and creative economy.The open market economy could make the social productive forces fully released,the rapid development of material civilization could bring the public sight into an array of commodities.Meanwhile,"brand" also came into being.The contemporary brand represents not only a commodity,a service,a sign,but also represents a spirit and a certain value.Therefore,how to establish a good brand image,expand the market brand and the influence of consumers has become an important issue.This passage mainly focuses on clothing brands.First,we make basic carding on the theory of clothing brands,setting theory of clothing brands as primary object,starting with characters and meanings of clothing brands,simple and clear theory of clothing brands can motivate individuals or companies during the process of establishing clothing brands positively,finally crating excellent clothing brands.Then,in the background of economic globalization,western clothing brands are entering our country's economic market.Those well-designed styles and comfortable and healthy fabrics have captured a large number of Chinese consumers.As consumer goods,fashion magazines can not only be purchased simply but also is a public media of information.The information that fashion magazines send is more than the consuming information or lifestyles,it has positive effects on public values,lifestyles and behaviors.The cover of magazine is the intuitive performance of whole magazine.Also the western clothing on the cover has this effect,too.I take Dior,Chanel and Louis Vuitton,these three western clothing brands,as examples,discussing their brand culture and brand positioning respectively.At last,I discuss three western clothing brands' designing languages and performance in Chinese fashion magazines.Studying and summarizing the development rules of western clothing brands have positive effects on Chinese clothing brands and other kinds of Chinese brands.In the future development,no matter brand culture,brand positioning or the propagation and popularization in media,the successful experience of western clothing brands are worthy learning and stimulating.It can also make less work if you instruct and practice with the theory of excellent brands.
