Research On The Poverty Reduction Effect Of Economic Growth In Developed Regions

This paper summarizes and studies relevant literatures at home and abroad,including the connotation,measurement,influencing factors of economic growth poverty reduction effect,and Suggestions for strengthening economic growth and poverty reduction.After that,the economic growth poverty reduction effect of the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta was measured using the index PEG index of poverty,assuming the income distribution mode was unchanged.Next is theoretically discussed influence factors of Yangtze river delta and pearl river delta economic growth poverty reduction effect,and carry on the empirical analysis,according to the empirical results,put forward to strengthen the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta economic growth poverty reduction effect.Through related research,this paper finds that:(1)To sum up the relationship between poverty and economic growth.In the process of combing domestic and foreign literatures,this paper measures the poverty reduction effect of economic growth by using elastic PEG.(2)Build a measure of economic growth,poverty reduction effect of poor growth elasticity of PEG,it mainly by the percentage change of real per capita income growth index and measurement of poverty of the HPI(human poverty index).Among them,according to China's national conditions,the human poverty index SHPI is constructed to replace the human poverty index HPI.(3)Select data from the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta from 1998 to 2016,and measure the poverty reduction effect of the two regions according to the elasticity of poverty growth.The results show that the economic development poverty reduction effect of the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta is moderate,and the economic development poverty reduction effect is strengthened.(4)This paper analyzes theoretically the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta economic growth poverty reduction effect factors,and carry on the empirical analysis,the following conclusions:from the perspective of fiscal expenditure of the government,to increase the Yangtze river delta region economy spending in fiscal expenditure is beneficial to strengthen the Yangtze river delta economic growth effect of poverty reduction.To increase public welfare expenditure and guarantee expenditure in the pearl river delta region will strengthen the economic growth and poverty reduction effect of the pearl river delta.From the perspective of industrial structure,the growth rate of the second and third industries of the Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta is conducive to strengthening the poverty reduction effect of economic growth in various regions.(5)According to the result of empirical analysis and influence factors,puts forward corresponding proposals:reasonable to increase the Yangtze river delta economic construction expenditure,increase public spending in the pearl river delta region and the protection spending and speed up the strategic adjustment of the tertiary industry and so on to strengthen poverty reduction effect of the Yangtze river delta,the pearl river delta economic growth.
