S Co,Ltd Demand Forecast And Production Planning Improvement

With the rapid development of economic and technology,the competition of Television(TV)market in China becomes tougher and tougher,and the companies need to make them more flexible in order to satisfy diversified customers with different kinds of TV and best service.It is not only brings more chance to TV companies,but also requests them to improve their operation at the point of Supply Chain Management(SCM)instead of targeting to earn more profit.Therefore,based on the product positioning and market analysis,the optimization of demand forecast and production planning of S company are proposed in this thesis.The following main subjects are included in this thesis:Firstly,the optimization of demand forecast based on the historical ratio of actual-demand and predicted-demand is proposed.By using the subdomain radial basis function and the least square solution of overdetermined equation,the curve of the modified function is efficiently fitted.The computed results show that,the optimized results obtained by the modified function can efficiently improve the accuracy of the demand forecast.Secondly,based on the storage-coefficient and capacity-limitation,the production planning is also optimized by the mathematical modeling and goal programming.The computational results show that,the optimized production planning can meet the requirement of the capacity-limitation and effectively optimized the storage-coefficient simultaneously.
