Problems And Countermeasures For The Development Of Mineral Resources Trade In Mengzhong

Mongolia is a country rich in mineral resources.As one of the important pillars of Mongolia's economic development,the proportion of mineral resources GDP in normal years exceeds 60%.Mineral resources exports accounted for more than 90%of Mongolia's total exports,accounting for 90%of China's mineral exports.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia more than 60 years ago,the two countries have maintained good-neighborly friendship and cooperation,and China has become Mongolia's largest trading partner.Following the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China,the two countries have conducted more in-depth and closer cooperation and exchanges.In recent years,the mineral resources trade cooperation and exchanges between the two countries have been deepened,and the economic and trade cooperation in other fields has also developed rapidly.Mongolia and China will further cooperate in various fields after the leaders of Mongolia and China have reached a strategic consensus on the docking of the the belt and road initiative with the grassland road.Mongolia's mineral resources are mainly distributed close to the Chinese border,and China is also the main export market of Mongolia's mineral resources.Mongolia and China have strong trade complementarities:the reason is that China,a big energy consumer,is far from meeting the growing demand,despite its own production and supply system.Mongolia has a low level of production technology and needs to introduce advanced technology from other countries to improve its production efficiency.In addition,China has strong mining production technology,which helps Mongolia to further develop technological innovation and strengthen technical cooperation in mineral resources development in the strategy of rejuvenating the country through energy.Under the the belt and road initiative,connectivity and large-scale cooperation on mineral and energy projects are important policy starting points for breakthrough progress in practical cooperation between the two countries.The " the belt and road initiative" offers a broader development prospect for trade in mineral resources.Based on the present situation of mineral resources trade between Mongolia and China and the premise of mineral resources trade cooperation,in this thesis,the bottleneck restricting the development of mineral resources trade between China and Mongolia have been studied by using the resource scarcity theory and comparative advantage theory.And the mutual competition and complementarity of mineral resources trade between Mongolia and China have been analyzed.The opportunities and challenges existing in the development of mineral resources trade between Mongolia and China have been expounded under the background of the construction of the belt and road initiative.And some countermeasures and suggestions have been puts forwarded for promoting the development of mineral resources trade between Mongolia and China.
