| Agile has gradually been recognized by more and more enterprises,many companies are trying to become agile or transform to agile.Many companies have been successful,and many companies are back on the old road.Why some enterprises have been successful,some companies have failed?Because agile seems simple,but the transition is not easy to implement,and often brings much more difficult than expected.Especially the transition in large manufacturing companies is difficult.Agile is a big change,these changes not only requires developers and other members of the company to make great effort,in addition to the engineering practice,management change,organizational change is also crucial.Company B is a typical multinational manufacturing company,in the process of transform to agile development,a series of problems occur.Based on the analysis of the problems Company A faced in the transformation,and according to the successful experiences in agile transformation in software industry and manufacturing industry,the author of this paper suggests to change the agile transition model,to change the organization structure,the development process and the performance management system to help the Company B to improve the transition methodology. |
