Based on relevant domestic and international research literature and theories related to regional economic growth,this paper analyzes the mechanism of the impact of regional technological innovation on economic growth.On this basis,the eleven provinces(cities)in the Yangtze River economic belt from 2006 to 2016 are selected as the research objects,and the status quo of the scientific and technological innovation ability and economic growth in the Yangtze River economic belt is analyzed through statistical analysis.Finally,on the basis of the regional scientific and technological innovation to promote economic growth of empirical research,f the spatial difference analysis and differential evolution process are analysised.This article mainly contains the following aspects:Firstly,based on the research background,this paper defines the connotation of regional science and technology innovation and economic growth by combing the research results at home and abroad,and analyzes the role of regional science and technology innovation in economic growth.On this basis,it expounds the spatial difference of the regional scientific and technological innovation Promote and period of economic growth,and lay the theoretical foundation for the construction of the model.Secondly,the paper uses statistical analysis methods to analyze the status of science and technology innovation ability and economic growth in the Yangtze River economic belt from 2010 to 2016.The results show that:(1)The overall technological innovation capability in the Yangtze River economic belt is good,But differences of regional science and technology innovation environment,input of regional science and technology innovation,output of regional science and technology innovation and regional scientific and technological innovation were significant in four aspects between the provinces.The regional technological innovation ability of Shanghai,Jiangsu andZhejiang in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt ranked the highest In the first three areas,Guizhou and Yunnan provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt and in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt ranked lower than others in terms of technological innovation.(2)The overall economic development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is relatively high.It has been drawn from both the regional economic scale and the regional economic structure that the economic development of all provinces and municipalities in the Yangtze River economic belt is very unbalancedThen,this paper empirically analyzes the technological innovation and economic growth in the Yangtze River economic zone.Using the data of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River economic zone from 2006 to 2016,the single root test,the co-integration test and the other test of panel data model were conducted.Through empirical analysis,we find the following findings:(1)The technological innovation in the Yangtze River economic belt has a positive effect on economic growth.(2)There are spatial differences in the contribution coefficient of technological innovation in the Yangtze River economic zone to economic growth.(3)The contribution of technological innovation in the Yangtze River economic zone to economic growth is time-dependent.Finally,in view of the problems discovered in the thesis research,the following policy suggestions are put forward:(1)Optimizing the environment for technological innovation in the region;(2)Establishing a scientific management system;(3)Innovating the input mechanism for technological innovation in the region;(4)Property strategy;(5)promote regional science and technology collaborative innovation.
