Green Development Strategy Of SH Company

Coal is the main body of china’s consumption of energy,and it is one of important guarantee for our energy security.Coal industry supports the rapid development of national economy.But With china’s economic development entering a new norm,economic growth rate slowed,the overcapacity of coal industry has become an urgent problem need to solve.At the same time,the development and utilization of coal brings environmental pollution and ecological deterioration,which has become the bottleneck that restricts the sustainable development of coal industry.These factors lead to the coal demand greatly reduced.During the year of 2015 to 2016,most of the coal enterprises experienced a loss,or even bankruptcy.Under the background of low carbon era,coal enterprises need to explore green development strategy.Through the documentary study and the Five-Force Model analysis,this paper gets the general picture of coal industry development and points out the problems existing in its industrial competition so as to analyze the necessity of implementing green development strategy in coal industry.In this paper,a case study of SH Company has showed the current situation of coal industry operation condition and green development.Through analyzing its advantages,disadvantages,threats and opportunities,this paper discusses and analyzes its development strategy based on the full understanding of the current green development situation of SH Company.It is concluded that based on its multi-advantages,SH Company should seize the policy opportunities to expand,further strengthen its green innovative technological research and built the image of green brand so as to construct the clean energy system with clean coal electricity at the center.This paper aims at provide useful ideas and methods for reference for the development and transformation of coal industry based on the exploration and discussion of SH Company’s green development strategy.
