With the development of our economy,the competition between companies and companies is getting fiercer and fiercer.The competition of talents is the root of the competition.And in the company,employees are the human capital of the enterprise,employee compensation determine whether the human capital of the enterprise can play its important role.Therefore,the design of compensation has an important influence on the enterprise Here are many studies on the relationship between salary and corporate performance.However,there is little research on the performance of ordinary employees.At the same time,the study on the effect of salary on performance in a single area is also less.In addition,the industry gap also affects the relationship between them Compared with other regions,Hubei province has its own uniqueness.Based on this,this thesis mainly studies the relationship between the salary of ordinary employees and the performance of listed companies in Hubei province,and pay attention to the influence of industry gap.I hope to find a better way to design common salary.It can provide some suggestions for the development of listed companies in Hubei province.Firstly,this thesis combs the relevant literature on enterprise performance and salary.Secondly,the thesis expounds the concept of enterprise performance,employee compensation,corporate governance theory,human resource accounting theory,principal-agent theory,championship theory and behavior theory.Then,the thesis analyzes the influence mechanism of common worker's salary,ordinary employee's salary gap and the external pay gap of ordinary employees on enterprise performance.Then the development of listed companies in Hubei province is revealed;Finally,the research object is the listed company in Hubei province from 2013 to 2016,and the influence of ordinary worker's salary on enterprise performance was analyzed by using Stata14.0.The results show that: Both the salary gap of ordinary employees and the external pay gap have significant positive correlations with enterprise performance.And the average worker-executive compensation and enterprise performance is inverted "U" type;At the same time,the industry differences have an impact on the above research results.According to the empirical results,this thesis puts forward some suggestions,such as improving the salary of ordinary employees,controlling the salary gap between senior executives and ordinary employees,and perfecting the salary disclosure system.
