In the trend of globalization,all of us can see the changes are happening with unprecedented speed that affecting the global economic and political environment due to some unexpected events or a change in leadership.The development direction of globalization has been challenged undoubtedly.In the complex and changeable economic environment,the economic growth weakened,the trust of institution reduced,how to accept the challenge,adapt to the environment and win the victory,it is a real topic in front of all enterprises.In the complex competition environment,the real competition between enterprises is the human resource.For the human resource management,how to make employee as capital,how to improve the performance management system by effective performance management,define and retain the best employees,will be the foundation of enterprises undoubtedly.G Company is a joint venture of power industry,its parent company is facing a major change after the operation of hundred years,which from a diversified company to a digital industrial leading company.The purpose is transforming the traditional industry.The performance management system which has been regarded as a standard shows its limitation today.Currently,a simple and powerful performance management system which keeps pace with times is expected.Switch from just focusing on the performance of past to staying the same between the employee performance and company's strategic development direction and pay attention to the process and guidance.At the same time,build a more flexible leadership culture.This paper is based on the company's actual operation,pointed out the existing problem by deep analysis to the current situation of the performance management system.This paper combined with domestic and foreign advanced performance management theory,using the method of Management by Objectives(MBO),Key Performance Index(KPI),Balanced Scorecard,integrating theory with practice,stated the whole improvement process of performance management system from the aspects of performance goal setting,performance implementation,performance evaluation and performance feedback.Concentrated on improving working environment,clearing the goal,expecting to explore a suitable performance management way for manufacturing industry.Based on performance management theories and methods researching perspective,comprehensively discussed the method,content and process of management staffs'performance management system including general manager,department manager and key employee.The author expects that through the study can provide theoretical guidance of the performance management for G Company,on the other hand,also can be a reference for other manufacturing companies to set up performance management system.
