The integration of city-industry is a powerful boost to regional socio-economic progress and a comprehensive reflection of international competitiveness. However, with the rapid development of urbanization, some problems inevitably arise in terms of population mobility, infrastructure construction, transportation, industrial development, and real estate development, coupled with the concept of development of "heavy and light people" in the initial stage of reform and opening up,management and supervision mechanisms can not keep up,social contradictions gradually accumulate and numerous drawbacks are exposed.such problems as urban sprawl, traffic jams, environmental deterioration, industrial isomorphism, arable land loss and "landless availability" have emerged.and bad competitions frequently occur such as urban blockades and malicious looting due to such factors as "standard discrimination",cities gradually evolve into high-risk areas, and the phenomenon of space conflicts emerges in an endless stream, threatening the efficient development and security of the region, which poses challenges to the sustainable development of economy and society. Therefore, based on the concept of "integration of city-industry-people",it is of great significance to study the problem of unsustainable space. This paper broadens the connotation and concept system of city-industry intergration and spatial conflict based on the analysis of related researches on theirs. It straightens the relationship between the concept of city-industry intergration and the issue of space conflict, taking game theory, space equilibrium theory and social conflict theory. And then builds a theoretical framework for spatial conflict problem management under the concept of city-industry intergration, and puts forward the economic, social, environmental and other influencing factors as a countermeasure theoretical thinking.Based on the evaluation index system constructed in this paper, taking the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration composed of nine cities of Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,Foshan,Huizhou,Dongguan,Zhongshan,Jiangmen and Zhaoqing as study areas, and based on the statistical data of various aspects from 2005 to 2015,an empirical analysis was conducted on the mechanism of the integration of production and urban integration and spatial conflict. It mainly consists of three parts:(1)With the entropy method and natural disaster method, the city-industry intergration degree and spatial conflict risk of each city in the Pearl River Delta are calculated, based on this, the dynamic characteristics of the interaction between industrial structure level, urbanization level and coordination degree and spatial conflict level are accurately described by using Pearson correlation coefficient method and panel vector autoregressive model.(2)A panel threshold regression model was established to deeply discuss the manifestation of this dynamic feature.(3)Constructs the research framework of the factors influencing space conflict based on the spatial measurement method from three aspects of contiguity, geography and economy.According to the empirical analysis results, the following conclusions are mainly obtained:(1)there is a nonlinear characteristic between spatial conflict and city-industry intergration-"inverted U" type through panel threshold regression model, that is,when it is less than 0.7952,it has a significant positive correlation with the spatial conflict risk level. The greater the degree of fusion in the industrial city, the greater the risk of spatial conflict. When the fusion degree of cities is greater than 0.7952,the risk level of spatial conflicts will decrease, and when it increases to 0.8409,the reduction effect of city-city fusion degree on spatial conflicts will be weakened, which means that the fusion degree of cities and towns is not as large as possible, there is an optimal interval.(2)the level of space conflict is influenced by social, economic and environment and many other factors. The rapid development of urbanization, the non-structural agglomeration of industries and population, the import and export trade, the investment in real estate, the facilitation of transportation and the deterioration of the environment accelerate the outbreak of space conflicts; The rational optimization of industrial structure, effective government regulation and raising employment rate will reduce the possibility of space conflicts to a certain extent. Finally, according to the existing problems and research findings in the Pearl River Delta,we put forward policy suggestions that can make the economy sustainable.Theoretical analysis and empirical studies show that the concept of city-industry integration and the management of spatial conflicts complement and promote each other to some extent, and the combination of the two can effectively solve the unsustainable problems existing in the process of economic development. From the perspective of city-industry integration,it can provide operable strategies and practical paths for the governance of spatial conflicts in different regions. The comprehensive analysis of the influential factors and the path of action in space conflicts is conducive to the full integration of "production-city-people" and the reduction of China's obstacles to the realization of the socialist modernization.
