Research Of Johnson Controls' Company Social Responsibility(CSR)'s Localization Strategy In China

China's opening to the world is near forty years FIE plays a critical role in Chinese economic life,its CSR's activities are being paid close attention by society.Johnson Controls is a traditional manufacturing company from US with over hundred years history and got global recognition to its CSR's practices,but because of blood lead accident of JCI's plant in Shanghai,JCI's reputation and business were damaged.The main reason is lacking of CSR's perception by business leadership and in company's governance.Some remediation measures don't insist of the theory of ethical relativistic,and lack of dynamic integration between JCI's overseas best practice and China's actual conditions being created the conflict between company's CSR principal and government's requirement.This study analyzed CSR's absence in JCI China through using the theory of ethical relativistic aiming for foreign company's CSR localization and for the foreign company's CSR construction in China with local characteristics,using JCI's remediation measures as sample to develop the localization's breakthrough and scheme as foreign company CSR's reference in China.
