Study On Non-standard Automation Project Change Management

With the increasing of labor cost and improvement of the level of productivity,the demand of non-standard automation equipment which can enhance the productivity increase significantly in Modern society.However,the structure of non-standard automation equipment itself is complex,long project development cycle,multi-functional departments involved,high input costs,develop technical difficulties,frequent design changes,all result in uncertainty during the project.The failure of project change management will often lead to project delay and cost overrun.The effective way to avoid these problems is to keeping negotiate with customer to clarify technical requirement and implement the effective change management if cannot avoid.Project change management has been an important research topic in the field of project management,most change is from the customer’s requirement.Many scholars conducted in-depth research about the requirements development of software projects,and proposed more mature theory and methods.But so far,there is little literature about researching the project change management of non-standard automation equipment development.Non-standard automation equipment industry in China started lately,change management is lack of reference standard.This article describes the change of the project management theory,and combined with author’s practical experience in project management,draws on theories and methods then analysis the features of the project scope management of non-standard automation equipment.Meanwhile,after the analysis according to the project change management practice of non-standard equipment which company B provided to company H,it summarized management efficiency and future improvement direction.Through research and practice,it will provide theoretical support in this article for raise company B the level of project change management in the non-standard automation equipment development,it will contribute for company B to develop the non-standard automation industry in the future,to improve the level of project management,quality and profit.Through these studies,it also hopes to provide a reference to the people working on project change management of non-standard automation industry.
