Auto Lighting System is the external key component of automobile, the lighting combines with light, electric, machine, etc. together. In the project’s research and development, it must focus on highly accommodating manufacture’s request, such as related technology quality, logistics, service, and so on. Due to the product’s complexity, and project’s long duration and dynamics, the change inevitably happens from time to time. In the process of research and development and manufacture of Auto parts, when auto manufacture sent out a change notice, auto lighting manufacture needs to immediately and quickly response accordingly. The promptness and validity for the change play key roles whether the project is success or failure. Therefore, it is very important to establish and perfect the project change management system. This paper concentrate on the research of the related issues about our company’s auto lighting project change management, the results are as below,1. Analyze the influence of auto lighting system project change to the target and organization structure. The research shows that the project time, budget, final product service quality, internal and external organization structure most seriously affect the project. The longer the project lasts and the bigger the impact is.2. Analyze 4 different changes in auto lighting system, including schedule, scope, budget and human resource.3. Analyze what result in the project change from these four parts: Project lifecycle, organization, manager personality and external environment. To clarify the factors which impact project is helpful for effective project control.4. Describe the method for project change management control. The key lies in that how to creat complete standard procedure and minimize the project impact.5. Analyze the problems on current project change management procedure and tools for JX auto lighting system. And make optimizations based on the problem analysis. Define different procedure for different changes. This can control the project change timing more smoothly.6. Through the practical case analysis of project change management in auto lighting manufacturing industry, it proves that the validity of the auto lighting project change procedure and tools presented in this paper.
