| In recent years,the economy of Henan Province has developed rapidly.The GDP exceeded RMB 4 trillion in 2016 and achieved a remarkable growth rate of 7.8% over the previous year in 2017,far exceeding the national growth rate,and the economic development has achieved remarkable achievements.While paying attention to gratifying results,we should also note the fact that the income gap between urban and rural residents in Henan Province is still relatively large.It is normal for a country to experience income disparity in the course of its rapid economic development.However,if we ignore this gap and allow it to continue to expand,it will inevitably affect the sustainable development of the economy and the harmony and stability of society.At present,China is in a stage of comprehensively deciding on a well-off society,building a harmonious society,and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas,and it is great significance to resolve the growing income gap between urban and rural residents.This thesis include five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.By clarifying the background and significance of the topic selection and the research summary of domestic and foreign issues of this type,the paper proposes the problems to be studied and solved,and points out the content,methods,innovation and difficulties of the research.The second chapterdescribes the historical evolution of the income gap between urban and rural residents in Henan Province from the perspective of time,and further analyzes the current situation of income disparity between urban and rural residents in Henan Province,and concludes that the absolute gap continues to widen,the regional differences are obvious,and the level is comparable to the national level,farmers’ income increases slowly.The third chapter analyzes the factors influencing the income gap between urban and rural residents at the theoretical level,and explores them from the three perspectives of political factors,economic factors and natural factors.The political perspective from the national development strategy,the urban-rural dualistic system,the household registration system,and the fiscal bias.The economic perspectives were discussed from the process of urbanization development,industrial agglomeration,educationfactors,and employment opportunities.Natural factors were discussed from the perspective of location and resource endowments;The fourth chapter is empirical research.On the first,introduce the selected models and indicators,and then proceed with empirical Analysis,and finally the empirical results are analyzed: rural financial development factors will expand the income gap between urban and rural residents,the degree of economic opening,dual structure,policy bias,agricultural development,education factors,etc.will narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents,but only binary structure,policy bias,economic open factors have a strongcorrelation in the income disparity between urban and rural residents.This result also provides a basis for proposing targeted countermeasures;The fifth chapter is a section on policy recommendations and outlook,mainly combined with empirical analysis.The results and the actual development of Henan Province put forward the following policy recommendations: first,cultivate multi-central urban agglomerations,focus on the development of medium-sized cities,second,increase financial support for agriculture,increase the proportion of investment in agricultural fixed assets,third,strengthen the conditions of agricultural production Renewal and transformation,fourth,multichannel to increase investment in rural education and prevention of loss of rural human capital,fifth,guide foreign investment flows to the agricultural sector,sixth,establish the inclusive financial system to crack the current situation of “money does not help farmers”. |
