Research On The Problems In The Property Income Distribution Of Urban Residents In Henan Province

It is first proposed in Communist Party Congress report in2007that we shouldcreate conditions to enable more citizens to have property income, and then propertyincome related to this topic has started to be concerned by people. Guarantee thesteady growth of property income will help to encourage the masses to create wealthand indirectly promote the development of social economy, so it is of greatimportance.There are many unreasonable factors in the Property income of urban residents inHenan Province：the total amount，the source&structure，and the gap among differentincome groups. In the past10years, the average ratio of total property income is lessthan1.5%in annual gross income. The source structure is also rather narrow, onlyhousing income, interest income and dividend income account for more than80%ofthe overall property income, and thus It is acknowledged that the property of theurban residents mainly are real estate and financial assets. Moreover, since thedevelopment of investment markets are not perfect, the types of investment productsare not many and the residents are lack of financial knowledge, the further expansionof the Urban Residents of investment channels is also limited. Since the wealth gapbetween high and low income groups is great, it leads to a polarization trend that thehigh level income group gets more property income.This paper focuses on the property income of urban residents in Henan Provincefrom2002to2010, and it uses the methods of structural analysis and parative analysisetc. to analyze Problems in the current property income of urban residents in HenanProvince. Firstly, the paper gets its problems that:(1) the overall growth of propertyincome is slow;(2) the source of the property income is relatively narrow;(3)the gapbetween high and low income groups is too large. Then the paper analyzes the reasonsof the problems. At last, the article proposes some policies and recommendationsrelative to the problems whose aim is to raise the Urban Residents of property incomeand narrow the gap between different income groups. The focus is on institutional, legal, tax, market environment and other factors with the hope of reducing theexcessive income gap and achieving the goal of social harmony and stability...
