In recent years,small micro enterprises has become an important part of China's economy,and our country is bringing more and more attention to its development.Nowadays,with the competition about talent between enterprises,how to improve employee engagement become more important.Managers in small micro enterprise should pay more attention to the problem,so that the staff are willing to use their talents to work with high enthusiasm,and eventually stay in the enterprise.In recent years,domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of research on the employee engagement,but studying the affect of the leadership on employee engagement in small micro enterprises,the research in this area is relatively lack,therefore,this study has a certain theoretical and practical value.On the basis of summing up the past literatures,the paper build leadership scale about the small micro enterprise managers and employee engagement scale.First,through the questionnaire survey and analysis,the paper use SPSS14.0 software to analyze the collected 122 questionnaires data,modify the index system and build the leadership model in small micro enterprise and test the engagement scale.Then survey and analysis for a large sample,213 questionnaires were collected and then filtered to obtain 204 valid questionnaires.Through the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis based on the 204 sample data using SPSS14.0 and Amos17.0,we find that the leadership of small micro enterprise managers has five dimensions: strategic management ability,ability of enterprise operation,self-management ability,personal influence,staff management ability.Employee engagement was constructed by vigor,dedication and focus.And,on this basis,we explore the affect of the leadership on employee engagement in small micro enterprise and employee engagement,and find that the leadership have obvious promoting effect on employee engagement.Finally,this paper summarizes the research,and analyzes the shortcomings existing in the research.
