| The management of modern logistics plays a vital role to increase the company core competency with worldwide intense competition and the trend of the development of economic globalization.The current logistics business has been recognized as the third source of profit.Therefore,most of enterprises prefer to focus on the modern idea and mode of logistics management gradually.In order to improve the logistics management,every company should know well about the importance of transportation in the logistics and try to choose a better transportation way.Throughout of study and analysis of the status of international transportation in ZT company,the best transportation way for different kinds of construction materials have been pointed out from this paper.The research background?significant and content will be presented firstly in this paper.Then the concept and current research status of the logistics transportation and the concept of multimodal transportation are summarized,and then,an analysis that advantages and disadvantages of the common mode of transport has been made,after that,this paper mainly analyzes the transportation plan of the construction materials from China to Nigeria in ZT company.Based on the above analysis,as well as the transportation mechanism in ZTcompany,logistics problems have been pointed out.This paper take the exports of minitype machinesand construction materials from China to Nigeria as research objects,and according to the transportation needs of ZT company,the unit value and weight will serve as the base figure,the classification of materials and equipments will be made with the method of Activity Based Classification(ABC for short).Moreover,The difficulty of material procurement?the status of reserve of materials in overseas project,and so on,these factors will serve as parameters to weighted with the method of ABC,and then adjust the classification results of ABC.Therefore,the classification results will more adapt to the actual transportation needs of ZT company.This paper adopt the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP for short)on the basis of classification of materials to evaluate the way of ocean shipping?air transport and multimodal transport in materials of A?B and C.Finally the best transportation way for each kind of materials will be decided.At the end of the paper,with the trend of global logistics transportation in the future,this research have been summarized and prospected,pointing out the further in-depth study shall be done in the aspect which the international logistics transportation and management in ZT company. |
