Research of technology fusion is the focus and difficulty in recent academic world.Scientific and objective analysis of the driving factors and future trend of technology fusion is not only of great theoretical values to guide enterprises seek technical opportunities through technology fusion,improve the capability of independent innovation and help enterprises develop technology strategy,but also of profound guiding significance to guide the development of emerging industries.Patent data is the most objective and feasible means to analyze technology fusion,the main output form of technology and the important index of studying technological innovation from the micro-level.The macro-level fusion of technology originates in micro-level fusion of technology of different fields and the process of forming fusion patent.Taking the trend of technology fusion as research object,this paper defines technology fusion on the basis of analyzing the generation process of technology fusion and classifies technology fusion according to the correlative features of technology.Then on this basis,this paper studies the driving factor that affect the trend of technology fusion.This paper studies the influence of different driving factors on similar and complementary technology fusion by using Probit model;on the basis of extracting the IPC and citation information of patent,this paper analyzes the trend of technology fusion through dynamic and static evaluation of knowledge flow between technical categories.Finally,put forward the measures and suggestions on the development of technology fusion.Taking Derwent World Patent Index and Citation library as data source and the fields of UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle)as the empirical research object,the author carries out quantitative empirical research.The results show that the less patent country span is,the faster the technology absorbs or diffuses,will more easily lead to the complementary fusion.The more patent country span is,the less the scope of technology,and the less the scale of technology is,will more easily lead to similar fusion.The future trend of the types of technology fusion which Tech 4,Tech 11,and Tech 31 involve in is the occurrence of similar fusion,and the future trend of the types of technology fusion which Tech 1,Tech 2,and Tech 6 involve in is occurrence of complementary fusion.The trend of the direction of the main technical knowledge flow involved in the technology fusion,such as Tech 1,Tech 2 and Tech 7,is based on the absorption of knowledge,and through the absorption of the knowledge of the external technologies.And the trend of the main technical knowledge flow involved in the technology fusion,such as the Tech 3,Tech 4,and Tech 5,is based on the absorption of knowledge,and through diffusing the knowledge to the external technologies.To help enterprises of relevant fields understand the technical factors that affect technology fusion and grasp the future development trend of technology fusion in future R&D activities.The author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to the development of technology fusion.Then think deeply the development of technology fusion.
